Frequently Asked Questions

What is Online Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)?

Online MRT is a nationally recognized, evidence-based cognitive-behavioral program designed to help individuals improve decision-making, accountability, moral reasoning, and behavior patterns. It is widely used for substance use recovery, criminal justice referrals, and personal growth.

Who is Online MRT appropriate for?

Online MRT is appropriate for adults seeking structure, accountability, and behavioral change, including individuals referred by courts, probation, employers, or treatment providers, as well as those participating voluntarily for recovery or personal development.

What happens after I register and pay?

We will receive your contact information and payment through our secure gateway with Square. We will ship your workbook and contact you to schedule your first group.

How long is the Online MRT program?

The Online MRT program is a 12-week structured program. Clients progress through MRT steps at a consistent pace while participating in weekly facilitated group sessions.

How are sessions conducted?

All MRT groups are conducted virtually in a secure, professionally facilitated group setting. Participants must attend from a quiet, private location with a stable internet connection and video enabled unless otherwise approved.

What is the cost of the Online MRT program?

The program is offered at a flat fee of $250, which includes: The official MRT workbook | Shipping and handling | Access to all scheduled MRT group sessions | There are no hidden fees.

What are the attendance requirements?

Attendance is mandatory. Only verified medical emergencies or verified family emergencies warrant missing a group session. Consistency is essential for MRT success, and missed sessions may impact program completion.

What if I need to miss a session?

Communication is key. Clients must notify Break the Cycle as soon as possible if an emergency arises. Failure to communicate or repeated absences without verification may result in removal from the program or non-completion.

Will I receive proof of participation or completion?

Yes. Participants who meet attendance, participation, and program requirements will receive official documentation of participation and/or completion, which can be provided to courts, probation officers, employers, or referral sources as appropriate. We also communicate with any referring agency via an ROI to inform them of your start and completion status.
