- The website does not host telehealth sessions or group programming
Participation in services offered by Break the Cycle occurs outside of the website and is governed by separate enrollment, consent, and program documentation.

3. Client Representation & Release of Information
Break the Cycle may communicate with referral sources, courts, probation officers, attorneys, or other authorized entities only when a valid, signed Release of Information (ROI) is on file.
When authorized, Break the Cycle may provide:
- Attendance verification or logs
- Program participation or progress updates
- Completion or non-completion status
In addition, Break the Cycle may disclose information without an ROI when required by law, including but not limited to:
- Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or vulnerable adult
- Situations involving imminent risk to the client or others
All disclosures comply with applicable state and federal laws.
4. Mandatory Reporting & Duty to Protect
Break the Cycle has a legal and moral obligation to respond to safety concerns.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Statements or behaviors indicating suicidal ideation
- Statements or behaviors indicating homicidal ideation
- Credible threats of harm to self or others
In such circumstances, Break the Cycle may or will take appropriate action, including:
- Contacting emergency services
- Notifying appropriate authorities
- Coordinating crisis response with suitable agencies
These actions are taken to protect life and safety and may occur with or without client consent when legally required.
5. Third-Party Links
The website may include links to third-party services (such as payment processors or email platforms). Break the Cycle is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites.
6. Limitation of Liability
Use of this website is at your own risk. Break the Cycle makes no guarantees regarding website availability, accuracy, or uninterrupted access.

Refund Policy for Program Fees

Break the Cycle is committed to fairness and transparency regarding program fees. This Refund Policy applies to program fees only and does not apply to third-party costs.
1. Eligibility for Refund Requests
A client may submit a refund request for program fees only under the following conditions:
- The request is made before course materials are shipped or before any group sessions begin, or
- The client experiences a circumstance that is cleared or verified by the referring agency requiring termination of program participation
Submission of a refund request does not guarantee approval.
2. Refund Review & Discretion
All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Refunds are granted at the sole discretion of Break the Cycle
- Approval depends on program status, materials issued, and circumstances surrounding the request
- Administrative or processing fees may be non-refundable where applicable
3. Course Materials & Workbooks
- Physical workbooks may be eligible for return only if the original packaging is unopened
- Opened, used, or damaged materials are not eligible for refund
- Return shipping costs, if applicable, are the responsibility of the client
4. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds may be denied in situations including, but not limited to:
- Program participation has already begun
- Course materials have been opened or used
- Non-compliance with program rules or attendance requirements
- Termination due to misconduct or policy violations
